Clinical Approach:

I believe that people heal and grow through connection. Within a trusting therapeutic relationship, we can deepen self-understanding and self-acceptance, make sense of difficult emotions and experiences, and become more open to meaningful change.

I walk alongside my clients and co-create a secure environment to explore emotions and memories, better understand themselves, and find the courage to make changes that bring greater wellbeing, purpose, and clarity. My goal is to bring warmth, curiosity, and non-judgment to our work together. Within that supportive context, I hope to build an authentic relationship in which we can discuss challenges and new ways of moving forward.

I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and possess an inherent capacity to grow, heal, and change. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and work collaboratively with clients to discover what feels most helpful to them. I welcome honest feedback about what is and is not working in therapy so that we can adjust our work together. The therapeutic relationship is a pivotal part of the process. The thoughts, feelings, and patterns that emerge between us can offer valuable insight into relationships and experiences outside of therapy, creating opportunities for greater self-understanding and change.

Issues I treat include depression, anxiety, performance anxiety, trauma, complex trauma, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, difficult relationships, emotional regulation challenges and other problems. Therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when we are carrying emotions and memories that feel concerning to ourselves or others. I cannot make any promises about the outcome of therapy. I can promise that I will always show up to therapy sessions with a desire for you to feel seen and understood, and I will always come prepared.

In my free time, I love running and walking outdoors, reading novels, watching professional tennis, and spending time with my family and friends.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl Rogers
