Education

I’m a Graduate of Northcentral University, where I graduated with my Master's degree in Psychology with a course of study in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Personal Interests

My personal interests include reading, cooking, traveling, going to Disneyland, family game nights, spending quality time with friends, walking my dogs, outdoor activities, going to the beach and finding new restaurants. I consider myself a bit of a foodie.

In my clinical practice, I emphasize self-reflection and personal growth. There is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. Together, we will find what benefits you.

Philosophy of Care

I believe in walking with individuals through their life experiences in a non-judgmental manner. I believe people are not a product of life circumstances; therefore, they do not need to live in a self-punishing manner. I believe individuals have the ability to process past traumas and issues resulting in a more fulfilling life. Gaining personal insight and personal growth is a strength that will manifest and multiply in relationships.

Working with people is my passion, and I believe your past does not define your future. When you attend therapy, you get to be vulnerable and explore the fears and tough feelings you may not feel comfortable sharing with family and friends.

Your story matters, your pain, and your struggles are unique to you and your experiences.

In my clinical practice, I emphasize a psychodynamic approach to look at your past and present and how that may influence how you make decisions.

I also use a relationship-based therapy approach with a strength-based frame to help you develop coping skills and protective factors against stressors and negative relationships.

I do well with those who are experiencing symptoms of Depression, Anxiety and Somatic Mind-Body connection issues. If you are experiencing a situation or circumstance affecting your ability to adjust, or affecting your ability to regain your footing for work/life balance, my practice may help you overcome these obstacles.
